FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham Police Department is a professional, accredited law enforcement agency dedicated to providing superior service to our community. The department is currently searching for highly motivated, experienced Police Officers for lateral transfer to Framingham Police.
Applicants must hold current Full-Time Police Officer status to be eligible for this position and be POST certified.

Current salary range is $56,007.64 to $76,161.28 plus the City offers an excellent benefits package which includes holiday pay, educational incentive, holiday pay, 8% shift differential for evening and night shifts, weekend differential along with other stipends, said the press release.
The City will also fund the full educational incentive for those transfers who qualify, 10% Associates, 20% Bachelors Degree, 25% Masters Degree.
Framingham Patrol Officers work a 5 x 3 work schedule. Your starting step and vacation time will be factored based on your current years of full-time police service.
In addition to the patrol and detective divisions, our residents are also served by the departments School Resource Officers, Safety Division, Traffic Enforcement Unit, Motor Unit, Bicycle Patrol Unit, Drone Unit, Special Operations unit and K9 Unit.
