FRAMINGHAM – As part of the Framingham Public Library’s Lifelong Learning Series, the main Framingham Public Library will offer a lecture on deaf culture on Thursday night, March 9.

The guest speaker will be Katie McCarthy, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program, Boston Children’s Hospital, and adjunct faculty, FSU and Simmons University

Attendees will learn the aboutDeaf culture, to gain a broader understanding of the different cultural and linguistic abilities within the Deaf community, and to understand how to communicate with Deaf people.
