FRAMINGHAM – Christimara (Christy) Garcia, the new Director of the Framingham State University Entrepreneur Innovation Center, is the featured speaker at the March meeting of the Framingham Business Association. 

The meeting is Wednesday, March 15 at noon at La Cantina Italiana at 911 Waverly Street. 

“We are thrilled to have Christy Garcia speak at our monthly meeting. Christy brings an energy and passion for local entrepreneurship that can only help Framingham’s economy grow. We look forward to ways the FBA and its members can partner with the Christy and Framingham State,” said Christopher Connolly, President of the Framingham Business Association.

Garcia is a business executive with more than 20 years of experience. She was the founder of the Catalyze Innovations Initiative, where she spearheaded the launch of several Innovation Bootcamp programs, including a BIPOC Entrepreneurship program, training and mentoring more than 100 entrepreneurs in applying disruptive innovation to achieve business prosperity, social-economic growth, and inclusion.

Gracia is the founder of ABGI Brasil, one of South America’s most recognized innovation consulting firms. 

The FSU Entrepreneur Innovation Center was launched in 2013. The Center is a hybrid co-working and incubator space. The Center provides a collaborative workspace, and access to resources and connections to new ideas and new networks.

The Framingham Business Association was created to promote and protect the value, importance and significance of a thriving business community in the City of Framingham, and to ensure that local businesses’ needs are being considered, understood and supported by the residents and government officials.
