FRAMINGHAM _ Framingham Police arrested, just before 4 a.m. Saturday, a Framingham man, 20, they found asleep at the wheel. He was charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and other charges.

Police responded to a report of a man “asleep behind the wheel at the intersection,” of Route 135 and Route 126 in downtown Framingham.

It was determined that driver was operating under the influence of alcohol, said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

Police arrested at 3:56 a.m. Laistton Cordeiro, 20, of 718 Waverley Street on Saturday, March 4.

He was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with out a license, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
