FRAMINGHAM – The Friends of the Framingham Library is partnering with a different company for a new Bulb, Seed and Berry Fundraiser.  Plant in the Spring and see your flowers bloom in the Summer.

“We changed companies because the shipping charges were much more reasonable — a flat $6.99, no matter what the size of the order.  Also, there are many more interesting varieties to buy,” said President of the Friends Marsha Farmelant.

When you go to our Flower Power Website, there is a map on the bottom — this indicates that City of Framingham is in Hardiness Zone 5.

If you want your blooms to be perennials, it is best to choose those offerings that flourish in Zone 5. Otherwise, the blooms will probably just last for this year, said Farmelant

Deadline to place an order is May 15.
