Winter Weather Advisory: Snow, Sleet & Ice Coming

BOSTON – The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton has issued a winter weather advisory for this afternoon (February 22) until Thursday afternoon, February 23.

The forecast calls for mixed precipitation expected.

Total snow accumulations of up to two inches and ice accumulations of around one quarter of an inch.

The storm is expected to start around 4 p.m. today and last until about 1 p.m. Thursday.

Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the ice.

Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute.
