FRAMINGHAM – Janet M (Cronin) Cooper died Thursday February 16th, 2023 in the comfort of the home she loved at the age of 67.

Janet leaves her daughter, Karen Cooper of Southport, NC, her sisters Maryellen (John) Fitzgerald, Maureen Cronin, Kathleen (Tom) Leinhardt and her Brothers, James (Elizabeth) Cronin and William Cronin and well as many nieces and nephews.  Janet was predeceased by her parents, Mary and William Cronin, her sister Patricia (Michael) St. Cyr as well her beloved identical twin sister and best friend, Judith Cronin.

Janet also lost her adored husband of 43 years, Robert T. (Bob) Cooper in November of 2022.

Janet worked for many years in the restaurant industry as a manger, most recently at Ken’s Steakhouse.  She was a hard worker, who put her heart and soul into her job, and took great pride in the successes of the businesses she worked for.

Janet enjoyed gardening, cooking, spending time with her family, and the occasional trip to the casino with her sisters.  She loved the home she shared in Framingham with Bob since 1979, where together they raised Karen and shared so many lasting memories.

Above all else, Janet was a kind person who believed in helping others in any way she could.  Whether that was taking care of ailing family members, or helping a man at the gas station, Janet did it all with grace, no expectation of anything in return.

In leu of flowers, please do something kind for someone else in Janet’s honor.

You never know how much a small act of kindness can make a difference in someone’s day or life.

A private remembrance of Janet’s life will be held with her family.
