NATICK – Joseph Thomas “JT” Franciose Jr., 52, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 13, 2023

Born in Natick, Massachusetts on February 2, 1971, he was the son of Joseph Thomas Franciose and the late Lorraine J. (Firth) Bibbo.

He was raised in Natick, where, as a young boy, he found his passion for ice hockey, playing on several teams, under the watchful eye of his coach and father, Tommy.  As a teenager, JT was selected to join the ranks of Team USA, representing his country at a tournament in Europe.

Following his graduation from Natick High School in 1989, JT spent a short time at Massachusetts Bay Community College, before taking his hockey skills to the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, skating with the River Hawks.

JT later graduated from Framingham State College, earning his bachelor’s degree with a focus on liberal arts.

JT’s first full time job brought him to Paine Furniture in Natick, where he quickly became a successful salesman, working in the oriental rug department.  He later joined his dad and uncle, working for his family’s company, Franciose Brothers Paving Corporation, lending a hand wherever he could.

While he spent the day working outdoors in the elements, JT picked up some indoor work at night and on the weekends, helping at Town Line Liquors in Natick.

More recently, JT took a position with the Town of Natick, serving as a truck driver with the Department of Public Works.

More than anything, JT loved music.  He was a self-taught guitar player, who loved entertaining his family and friends.  JT was also known to compose and record his own music, spending countless hours in the studio to ensure every track was perfect.

Devoted son of Joseph Thomas “Tommy” Franciose and his wife, Patricia (Clougher), of Natick and the late Lorraine J. (Firth) Bibbo and her surviving husband, Joseph, of Natick.

Loving brother of Lynette M. Franciose of Natick.

Cherished uncle of Livia M. Rigoli.

Beloved grandson of Louise (Matthews) Franciose of Natick.

Also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
