FRAMINGHAM – Roberta M. (Maccini) Ianiro, 83, a lifelong resident of Framingham passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at MetroWest Hospital.  

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Peter & Mary (Ray) Maccini, and the beloved wife of the late Robert Panczyk and the late Michael A. Ianiro.

Roberta was born and raised in Framingham. She married Robert soon after high school and together they raised their children in Framingham.

Over the years, Roberta worked for Aritech and Lumber Insurance.

A great day for Roberta was shopping, particularly at Macy’s, followed by a nice lunch out. After losing Robert in 1994, she met and married Michael a few years later in 1999 and together they enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.

Roberta is survived by her children, Vicki Tanner & her husband Phil of Blackstone, and Gary Panczyk & his wife Tiffany of Maynard, her step children, Michael Ianiro & his wife Kimberly of Ashland, Michele Carpenter & her husband Matthew of Holden, and Kathleen Reardon & husband Michael of Worcester, her grandchildren, Jennie Olivieri & her husband Adam, Frank Beninati, Megan and Nicole Ianiro, Matthew, Michael and Marshal Carpenter, Zachary, Aaron and Mitchell Reardon, and great grandchild Violet Reardon, her siblings, Charlotte McGill, Anna Hobson & her daughter Denise Dooling and Louis Maccini.

Roberta was predeceased by her brother, Peter Maccini, Jr.

Private Funeral Services will be held at Saint Stephens Cemetery in Framingham.
