FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High co-ed wrestling team finished fifth at the D1 Central & Western sectionals this weekend.
“We placed 6 wrestlers in the top 6 and qualified 5 wrestlers to the D1 State Championships next weekend. All 6 placers return next season,” said Flyers Head Coach Erik Delehanty.
Alexi Florian won the 220-pound weight class.

John Nogueira, at 182 pounds, and Dan Sullivan, at 126 pounds, both finished in second place at sectionals.
Blake Brandolini, at the 106-pound weight class, and Ben Lincoln, at 152 pounds, both captured third place at sectionals.
Jack Whiting finished in 6th place for Framingham at the regional meet.
