Framingham Police: Driver Strikes Cruiser Responding To Emergency Call

FRAMINGHAM – A driver struck a Framingham Police cruiser last night, January 31.

“An officer was responding lights and sirens to an emergency call and was struck crossing through the intersection,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

The crash happened at Route 9 and Temple Street at 6:49 p.m.

Framingham Fire Tower 1, Ambulance 3 & Ambulance 5 responded to the 2-vehicle crash said Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher.

Transported to UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester was a female, 27, complaining of jaw and neck pain, said Chief Dutcher.

Transported to MetroWest Medical Center was a a male, 24, complaining of back and neck pain, said Chief Dutcher. 

 Both vehicles were towed, said Lt. Mickens.

 No citations have been issued, said Lt. Mickens.

It is still under investigation.
