FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police responded to a report of gunshot Sunday night, January 8.

The incident happened last night between 10 and 11 p.m. on Main Street.

“I can confirm that there were shots fired during the incident last night,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens to SOURCE today, January 9.

“There were no injuries and the individual is in custody,” said Lt. Mickens.

No other information was released by police as it was a domestic violence incident.

Former Gov. Deval Patrick signed a law to prevent police departments from releasing domestic violence incidents or arrests to the public.
