NATICK – The Town of Natick is advertising for an Executive Director of Public Works and Facilities.

The former executive director Jeremy Marsette was hired as the town administrator for the community of Sherborn in November 2022.

He was the Natick DPW Director from December 2014 to November 2022.

The Executive Director of Public Works and Facilities is responsible for developing and overseeing programs to ensure proper stewardship of all public infrastructure. Strategic oversight of Public Works and Facilities departments to promote effective and efficient management. Develop cost effective opportunities to leverage department assets.

The salary range for the position is $155,000 to $175,000.

The non-union management position reports to the Natick Town Administrator.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing operations to ensure that Facilities and Public Works Departmental resources are maximized, sustainable and meeting established Town goals
  • Responsible for the purchase, utilization and control of all forms of energy used in Town.  Collaborative energy purchases are encouraged where practical

Applicants should have 10 years experience and a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, business or a related field, or equivalent job experience.  Applicants should also have a Certified Mass. Certified Public Purchasing Official (MCPPO)
