FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High boys indoor track & field team lost to Wellesley High yesterday, December 22, at the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston.

The Raiders won the track & field meet 75-24.

Coach Ed Crowley said the Flyers were “riddled with sickness, health, and inexperience.”

“Having said that the future, room for improvement and effort were all there for the Flyers. Even up against the reigning state championship team, every position was earned and adjustment to training and preparation will be made moving forward,”said Coach Crowley

Framingham sophomore Christian Marshall blazed the second fastest time amongst all competitors in the 55-meter hurdles. His time was 8.42 seconds.

“CJ Hodge seeing his workload paying off by scoring in both of his individual events to go along with his fantastic leg in the 4X200,” said Coach Crowley.

Framingham’s Jasen Jean-Louis ran a personal best 7.03 seconds in the 55-meter sprint.

Senior Trevor Lipp ran a season best 56.7 seconds in the 400-meter event, while senior Nathan Desmarais had a personal best in the event at 57 seconds

Framingham junior Matthew Vilela threw a personal best 36-feet 2.5 inches in the shot put event.

Framingham is now 0-2 to start the season.

Next meet is January 5, 2023.
