FRAMINGHAM – Sister Anna Bridget Crann, CSJ, (Sister James Elizabeth), in her 62nd year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died Tuesday, December 6, 2022. 

Devoted daughter of the late James and Elizabeth (Burke) Crann, and beloved sister of the late Mary Catherine Crann, her twin sister, Margaret (Sister James Patrick), CSJ, and Elizabeth A. Murray, as well as her sister-in-law, Frances Crann, and brother-in-law, James Patrick Murray, Sr.  Sister Anna is survived by her loving brother, Patrick J. Crann, her two nieces, Tricia Petitpas, and Susan Crann, her two nephews, James Murray and Patrick Crann, her beloved cousins, along with many cherished grandnieces and grandnephews, and her Sisters in the Congregation. 

Formerly served for many years at Bethany Health Care Center as a CNA and Community Life Coordinator.

Sister Anna was also missioned as a pre-school teacher at Merrimack Montessori School, Haverhill. 

Visiting hours at Holy Family Chapel, Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, 631 Cambridge Street, Brighton, MA, Tuesday, December 13, 2022, 9:15 to 10 a.m.

Prayer Service at 10 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at the Motherhouse at 10:15 a.m.  

Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, 180 Pond Street in Natick

Arrangements by Norton Funeral Home, in Framingham.
