FRAMINGHAM – The Christa McAuliffe Library branch will hold a gingerbread house workshop for kids on December 8 from 2 to 3 p.m.
The workshop is for kids in grades 1-5.
Call the library to register.
Gingerbread houses originated in Germany during the 16th century.
The elaborate cookie-walled houses, decorated with foil in addition to gold leaf, then became associated with Christmas tradition.
