Joan was a longtime member of the Natick Democratic Town Committee and Treasurer for State Representative David Linsky for several years.

Joan and her husband loved spending time on Cape Cod and made it their second home.  Having a small family, she enjoyed spending time with them and was so proud of her granddaughter Sydney.  Joan was an avid animal lover, having many canine family members throughout the years and more recently adored her adoptions of multiple greyhounds.  Joan was a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and Neil Diamond and was delighted with the incorporation of “Sweet Caroline” during the 7th inning stretch.
