FRAMINGHAM – A dog was struck & killed in front of the Framingham dog park on Dudley Road over the weekend.

Police were called to the dog park at 9:26 a.m. on Saturday, November 19.

A “dog ran into roadway and was struck by a vehicle.  The dog did not survive,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens on Monday, November 21.

The driver of the vehicle “Operator “did stop and remained on scene,” said Lt. Mickens.

No citations were issued, said Lt. Mickens.
