Flyers Win South Regional D1 Championship

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High School cheerleaders won the South Regional D1 Championship title over the weekend.

Captains this season are Alyssa Brandolini, Ava Heitman, and Kaylani Santana.

Other squad members are Julia Ottaviani, Kyra Busenburg, Ana Chaves, Camille Cordeiro, Natalia Gutierrez, Lily Mark, Amani Rivera, Lunah Semprum, Keira Wiltshire, Lauren Carnicelli, Ashley Cutler, and Mia Canney.

The Flyers are coached by Sue Pereira and Brandy Chartier.

Next up for the Flyers is the state competition this weekend.

The Flyers won the Bay State League Championship earlier this season.

Framingham won the title in 2022, 2021, 2019 and 2017.

This the third South Regional Fall Championship for the Flyers. They won also in 2019 and 2017.

The Flyers are the defending Division 1 state champions from 2021.
