FRAMINGHAM – Joanne Marie Salvi, 75, of Framingham passed away on Saturday October 29, 2022.

Born in Framingham, she was the daughter of the late Aldeno “Aldo” Salvi and Rose Marie (Morreale). She was the sister of Charles Paul Salvi of Marlborough.

Joanne was a graduate of Ashland High School, then went on to attend and graduate from Framingham Union Hospital School of Nursing.

She was a Registered Nurse with Framingham Union Hospital for a short time, and later spent many years with Newton-Wellesley Hospital until her retirement.

Joanne enjoyed watching the black and white science-fiction movies of the 50’s and 60’s, as well as cartoon programs of that era.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Tarcisius Church, 562 Waverly Street in Framingham on Saturday November 12, 2022 at 10 a.m.

Interment will follow at St. Tarcisius Cemetery in Framingham. There are no visiting hours.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital; stjude.org or the Shriner’s Hospital; lovetotherescue.org.
