NATICK – The Foundation for MetroWest is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to the Board of Trustees. Jennifer Leisman Dessert (Weston) a principal at Leisman Insurance Agency, and Craig Santos (Framingham), a senior director at MathWorks join our Board of 19 other members.

The two individuals bring unique perspectives and experience that will help advance our mission to improve the quality of life for all residents of MetroWest.

Jennifer Leisman Dessert, CLU, CLTC, AEP is a principal member of the team at Leisman Insurance where she specializes in life insurance planning for high-net-worth clients. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, she now serves on their board. She stays active in the community through her involvement in The Vincent Club, The Winsor School and the ESSCO-MGH Breast Cancer Research Fund. She lives in Weston with her husband and their two young children.

Craig Santos is the Senior Director of Training Services for MathWorks where he provides leadership and coaching for all aspects of the business, including product development, business strategy, operational management, service delivery and success accountability. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA with a focus on technical management. He is a military veteran and lives in Framingham with his family.

In addition to the two new board members, our long-time board member and supporter Tom Crotty has been elected a Trustee Emeritus. He is a senior advisor at Battery Ventures, having stepped out of his Managing Partner role of the Boston based venture capital firm. He has served as a board member for
dozens of companies in the communications, software and ecommerce sectors. Active in the nonprofit sector as well, Crotty co-founded Hub Financial Charities after 9-11, chaired the Southborough Community Fund a fund of the Foundation for MetroWest, and serves on the board of Grassroot Soccer. He previously served on the Board of the University of Notre Dame.
