FRAMINGHAM – Sunday is election day for Brazilian.

All Brazilians including those who live in Massachusetts, will vote to elect a new President.

St. Tarcisus Church in Framingham is a polling place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Expect delays on Route 135 in Framingham on Sunday.

As no candidate received a majority of 51% in the October 4 election, there is a runoff election between current President Jair Bolsonaro and former President President Luiz Inácio “Lula” da Silva.

Silva received the most votes but only had 48.4%

All Brazilians, by law, are required to vote, even if they are not in Brazil
