FRAMINGHAM – Mary Ellen Stuart, 87, of Framingham, a beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2022.
Mary was born in Brookline MA where she was raised along with her 7 siblings.
She attended and graduated from Brookline High School and went on to become a dental assistant working in Brookline and then Framingham for many years. She loved her job and made several lifelong friendships.
Mary loved taking care of her family and home, she enjoyed gardening and was a loyal Red Sox fan. Mary and her husband Vin were devoted parishioners of St. George’s church. She also enjoyed socializing and attending celebrations with friends, neighbors and family. Mary was a very friendly person with a wonderful personality who was loved by all for her positive, upbeat demeanor.
Mary was a devoted wife to Vincent Stuart to whom she was married for 57 years. Mary enjoyed a beautiful, full life raising her children in Framingham. She was a doting grandmother of 6 and spent any time she could helping out and spending time with each one.
Survived by husband Vincent of Framingham, her son, Vincent Stuart and his wife Jennifer of Framingham, her daughter Beth Domolky and her husband Erik of Southborough. Mary also leaves behind her grandchildren, Kimberly and Sarah Stuart of Framingham, Ava, Joseph, Bryn and Shea Domolky of Southborough, her brother, Joseph Hennessy of Norwood, her sisters, Barbara Murphy of Framingham, and Joan Merrick and Patricia Langdon of Marshfield. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and Henry Hennessy, and her sisters, Betty Brown, Anne Dwyer and Grace Shaldoni.
Family and friends will honor and remember Mary’s life by gathering for visiting hours in the McCarthy, McKinney & Lawler Funeral Home, 11 Lincoln St. Framingham on Tuesday, October 25 from 4-8 p.m..
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday morning in St. George Church, 74 School St. Saxonville at 10 o’clock. Interment will take place at a later date.
