Rams Junior Little East Conference Defensive Player of the Week

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham State junior midfielder Avery Guiel has been named Little East Conference (LEC) Field Hockey Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending October 16. 

Guiel was named the LEC Defensive Player of the Week after notching a pair of defensive saves during the week for the Rams, one of which helped give Framingham State a 1-0 win over Salem State.

Her defensive stop against the Vikings was in the 38th-minute to keep the game scoreless until the Rams got on the board six minutes later.
