FRAMINGHAM – Framingham High girls volleyball hosted Braintree High on Thursday afternoon.

The Flyers lost a hard-fought battle 3-2.

Game scores were 25-22, 22-25, 18-25, 25-22, 15-13.

“One of the most frustrating things about coaching a sport like volleyball is that at times you can out score your opponent and still lose the match, and that is exactly what happened to the flyers last night against Braintree.  With a total points score of 110 to 104 the Flyers still acquired another loss,” said head coach Emily Viti.

“The Flyers fought hard from the first whistle all the way to the last truly showing off how hard they’ve been working in practice and clearly executing our game plan of accuracy over power,” said Viti.

The Flyers are back on the court on Friday against Cambridge Rindge & Latin at 4:30 p.m. at Framingham High.
