ASHLAND – Ashland Town Manager Michael Herbert announced he has promoted Candi Wilson to be the new Town of Ashland Senior and Social Services Director.

Wilson currently serves as the town’s Outreach Coordinator at the Community Center, a position she has held since 2019.

She was selected after an extensive public search process, said the Town Manager.

“We received several highly qualified candidates,” said Herbert.

“From that pool, six candidates were interviewed by Jenn Ball, Lisa Uglialoro, Lyn Moraghan, and Pat McHale (representing the COA). From that round of interviews, 2 were forwarded to me for final interviews. Candi was the best candidate for the position in terms of experience and fit,” said Herbert on social media.

“Many of you know Candi personally as an Ashland resident as well as in her current professional role as the Outreach Coordinator for the seniors at the community center. I am confident that she will continue to improve upon the good work Joanne Duffy did while also bringing new and exciting ideas and perspectives to the program,” said Town Manager Herbert.
