MARLBOROUGH – The Advanced Math & Science Academy girls cross-country team defeated Keefe Tech 15-48 yesterday, September 20 at Ghiloni Park in Marlborough.

“Grace Arena was 6th in the girls race against a very strong AMSA squad,” said head coach Jeff Beling.

Arena’s time on the 3-mile course was 26.36 minutes.

Junior Maitipaz Ramos was second for the Broncos in 30.30 minutes.

Junior Kiyomi Erickson finished third for the Keefe Tech in 32:13 minutes.

Seniors Olivia Klein and Waldah Namatovu were the 4th & 5th runners for the Broncos to cross the finish line.

Freshman Shylah Meeks-Price and Madelyn Manchester also competed for Keefe Tech yesterday.

Broncos are still seeking their first win of the season. They are 0-2.

Next for the Broncos is a home meet against Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School on September 27 at Farm Pond at 3:30 p.m.
