FRAMINGHAM – Margareth Shepard has earned the endorsement of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Organization for Women (NOW) in her campaign for state representative for the 6th Middlesex District.

“Now, more than ever, the feminist community needs to be proactive in helping candidates for office work towards NOW’s priority areas: reproductive justice, LGBTQ equality, economic justice, gender based violence, civil and constitutional rights, and racial justice,” said Mass NOW PAC.

“It is humbling to be endorsed by the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Organization for Women,” said Margareth Shepard. “Mass NOW has long advocated for the values shared by the vast majority of Framingham residents, notably women’s rights, social and economic justice, and the end to intimate partner and gender based violence.  As your state representative, I will sponsor and co-sponsor legislation to further ensure that our Commonwealth truly embraces its core values of equity and justice.”
