SALEM – Today, September 1, more than 45 new former and current elected officials, advocacy leaders, and organizations have endorsed Mayor Kim Driscoll for Lieutenant Governor, continuing to solidify her statewide support and momentum as voters cast their ballots in these final days of the Democratic primary.
Driscoll also had her best fundraising month since her announcement in January, bringing in $208,000, more than double her competitors in the final report ahead of Election Day.
“I am working hard to earn every single vote in these final days as I continue to meet with local leaders and residents about the pressing issues facing our Commonwealth,” said Driscoll. “I am humbled by the enthusiasm we are seeing on the ground for my candidacy and I am looking forward to bringing my commitment and shared values to Beacon Hill as Lieutenant Governor.”

In total, Kim has now earned the support of over 350 leaders, following the endorsements of Chicopee State Representative Joe Wagner, Agawam Mayor Bill Sapelli, Northampton Mayor Gina-Louise Sciarra, West Springfield Mayor Will Reichelt, and other leaders in the region during Wednesday’s visit in Western Massachusetts. To date, Mayor Driscoll’s public endorsers include current and former elected officials across Massachusetts, labor unions, national leaders such as Barbara Lee, and the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts. These endorsements also follow Driscoll’s resounding endorsement at the Massachusetts Democratic Party Convention in Worcester this past June, where she secured over 41% of support in a crowded five-way race.
