FRAMINGHAM – Priscilla L. Lemieux, of Framingham, formerly of Waltham, MA and Santa Rosa, CA, passed away on July 18, 2022. She was 76 years old.

Born and raised in Waltham, Priscilla worked for many years as a healthcare aide. A spontaneous adventurer, she moved to California in her forties, making sure to stop along the way to enjoy any live blues music she could find. Priscilla’s love of the arts was eclectic, spanning from Charlie Musclewhite’s harmonica music, foreign (subtitled) films to the priceless paintings of Vincent van Gogh. She was spontaneous and full of spunk, always jumping in the car for farmers’ markets, art and craft fairs, museums with her daughter and/or, Yankee Magazine highlighted road trip destinations.

She was an exquisite photographer who loved to explore and capture nature, oceans, forests, landscapes with vivid color and amazing composition. She shared these many adventures on the West Coast with special niece Miki and friends Joanne and Sue. Her apartment was always filled with empty boxes primed and ready to carry a hand-made photo card from Priscilla’s talented eyes or just the most special and unique-to- you, hand-made gift. Her heart always travelled to you in the form of a card or a personal gift.

Priscilla loved the Redwoods, trees and ocean. She had favorite beaches and walks on both coasts. Some of her favorite East Coast beaches were found in Gloucester, while some favorite Pacific beaches were Point Reyes National Seashore and Bodega Bay, which can be seen in Alfred Hitchcock’s classic, “The Birds.”  She enjoyed her dark chocolate and decaf lattes, most of all, she held her friends and loved ones near and dear to her heart.

After retirement, Priscilla returned to Massachusetts to be in the company of her three children, their spouses and her beloved granddaughters. Priscilla was the loving mother of Duane and his wife Jennifer (Tesorero of N. Billerica); Dawn Tesorero and her wife Patricia (Race of Roslindale); Dana and Stephanie (Tesorero, former daughter-in-law) and their children Sophia and Emma of Framingham (who called her “Memere.”) Dear sister of Paul and his wife Ruth (Lemieux of Colorado); Pauline Gauthier-Kindig and husband Jack (Kindig of Georgia); Patricia and husband Ed (Pieropan of Washington); Sister-in-law Sandra (Lemieux of California) and pre-deceased by her brother Philippe Lemieux and pre-deceased by her sister Phyllis Lemieux. Also survived by her “Little Sister” Miki Lemieux and husband Enrique Sanchez; and “Lil’ Sister Dee Dee (LeBlanc) Wheaton and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. In her own private quiet manner, she demonstrated a special kindness thoughtfulness which she generously bestowed on her friends and family.

In the future there will be two celebrations of Priscilla’s life to be scheduled for Massachusetts and California.
