FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police arrested a Framingham man Monday night, August 15 on an assault charge.

Police arrested at 7:16 p.m. at his residence Cleiton Aquino-De Almeida, 31, of 27 Georgetown Drive of Framingham.

He was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and vandalizing property.

The man had an argument with an acquaintance, said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

“He struck victim’s windshield with a hammer causing damage and threatened to strike victim,” said Lt. Mickens.

No one was injured, said Police.
