1 Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker & Lt. Gov. Karyn Polito in Framingham last night, July 26, for the dedication of the Karen Foran Dempsey Ballroom at Historic Village Hall.

The late Karen Foran Dempsey was the co-founder of the Disability Commission and was a School Committee member when she died in December of 2020.

The ballroom was standing room only for dedication ceremony, in which her husband Mark Dempsey, the City’s ADA coordinator spoke, as did the City fo Framingham Mayor Charlie Sisitsky, along with Gov. Baker and Lt. Gov. Polito.

2. The Framingham School Committee meets tonight at 7 at the Memorial Building in the Ablondi room.
