1 The heat wave continues today. The heat advisory since Tuesday is still in place, and is expected to last through the weekend, as temperatures may reach 100 degrees on Sunday.

Please do not leave dogs in vehicles.

The City will use its libraries as cooling stations.

Only two of the City’s three beaches are open this weekend, as one of the beaches failed a water quality test yesterday.

2. The City of Framingham will host its second community corner today from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Danforth Park, Danforth Street.

The first community corner was held at Butterworth Park earlier this month.

3. Free Concert tonight at the Framingham Centre Common. Earlier start time tonight at 6.

Southern-fried rock and country band Way Up South will perform.

Attorney General candidate Quentin Palfrey will be at the Framingham Democratic Committee tent tonight.

4. City Hall closes at 2 p.m. today.

5. The Framingham Public Library and the Framingham Public Library Foundation will host Noche de Fiesta on Saturday, July 23 from 6 to 9:30 p.m.

Noche de Fiesta is free, but the first 500 people who register will receive a free FIESTA bag at the event. Pre-registration will help with the planning of the event. To pre-register use the QR code below.

The events is from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on Lexington Street, which will be shut down from 5 to 10:30 p.m.
