NATICK – Rosemary Kaufman of Conway, N.H., formerly of Natick, passed away at the age of 96 on Monday, July 18, 2022. She recently moved to N.H., where she enjoyed living in the White Mountains with her daughter and son-in-law who she lived with for 38 years.

She was born in Waltham, the daughter of the late John F. and Marie Ahern and the beloved wife of the late Richard C. “Bucky” Kaufman. Rosemary was a devoted mother to Richard and Charlotte Kaufman, Robert and Debbie Kaufman, Paul and Kathy Kaufman, Mark and Lisa Kaufman, Lisa and Clem Paquette and John Kaufman. She also leaves her daughter-in-law Diana Kaufman. Rosemary was the mother of the late Bruce Kaufman, mother-in-law of the late Patricia Kaufman, sister of the late Margaret (Robert) Curtin, John F. (Betty) Ahern, Paul and Bernadette Ahern. She is also survived by her brothers George (Ollie) Ahern, Robert (Pat) Ahern, Richard (Carmel) Ahern, and her sister, Maryellen (Roy) Hill and many loving nieces and nephews. She was Nana to 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Rosemary loved her family unconditionally and will be fondly remembered for her zest for life, her artistic ability, her sense of humor, her love of the old classic movies, reading a good book, always finishing even the hardest crossword puzzles, playing Bingo with her friends and her many trips to the casino. She was an inspiration to those who were lucky enough to know her.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the visiting hours at the John Everett Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, Natick Common, on Friday, July 22, 2022. at 10 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at noon.

Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Natick.

In lieu of flowers, her family kindly suggests donations be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation (t2t.org).
