WASHINGTON DC – A day after visiting Massachusetts, President Joseph Biden has tested positive for COVID, announced the White House this morning.

The White House said the President, 79, as “mild symptoms.”

President Biden is receiving Paxlovid, an anti-viral drug used to minimize the severity of COVID-19, the White House said.

The President will isolate at the White House but will “continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time.”

Yesterday, President Biden was in Somerset, Massachusetts to discuss climate change policy.

Senators Ed Markey & Elizabeth Warren were both in attendance for the event.
