FRAMINGHAM – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be conducting overnight construction operations at the Route 9 eastbound ramps to Route 126 in Framingham. The work will require the temporary overnight closures as outlined below.

  • The Route 9 eastbound off ramp to Route 126 (Concord Street) in Framingham will be closed each evening starting on Sunday, July 17, at 9 p.m.. through Friday morning, July 22 at 5 a.m. During the work traffic traveling on Route 9 eastbound will be directed to use Caldor Road.
  • The Route 126 southbound ramp to Route 9 eastbound in Framingham will be closed each evening starting on Sunday, July 17, at 9 p.m. through Friday morning, July 22 at 5 a.m.Traffic looking to access Route 9 eastbound from Route 126 southbound will be directed to use the Concord Street ramp.

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
