Gordon Unanimously Voted District 2 School Committee Member

FRAMINGHAM – David Gordon was sworn in as the newest Framingham School Committee member.

The City Council and the 8-member School Committee held a joint meeting to vote on a new District 2 School Committee member, to replace Ricky Finlay who resigned to take a position with the City of Framingham.

Three men applied to fill the unexpired seat in District 2 through December 31, 2023.

Gordon received all 19 votes tonight, June 21.

After the vote, City Clerk Lisa Ferguson administered the oath of office to Gordon.

In November 2021, voters will elect a District 2 School Committee member for 2 years.
