FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Legion opened up it’s season with a win versus North County 13-11 on Friday evening June 10.

Framingham took the lead in the first inning when Max Stevelman (3 for 4) singled, Cody Coleman (3 for 4) doubled and then Connor Kramer (3 for 5) singled to put Framingham up 1-0.

In the bottom of the 3rd, North County took the lead 2-1.

Jaron Duffy, Alex Tosi, Pat Chapin and David Maude all pitched well for Framingham as Maude picked up the victory.

Framingham trailed 11-4 going into the top of the 7th when the bats came alive.

A pinch hit RBI single by Kyle Chan, a stolen base by Rodrigo Ramirez and some great base running by David Maude and Antonio Rivera, Framingham tied the score 11-11.

Both teams would remain scoreless until the top of the 10th when Dom Morelli hit a 2 Run, Home Run over the left center field fence to give Framingham a 13-11 lead.

David Maude pitched the final 2+ innings to pick up the Victory.

Framingham Legion will play its first home game on Monday night at Bowditch Field vs. Main South at 7 p.m.
