FRAMINGHAM – Sister Patricia Ellen Corkery, CSJ, (Sister Leo Clement), in her 69th year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died Friday, June 3, 2022. 

Devoted daughter of the late Joseph G. and Bridget M. (Kelly) Corkery, and beloved sister of the late Mary Jo Pineo and Helen Corkery.  Sister Patricia is survived by her loving brother, Brother Jeremiah Corkery, MM (Maryknoll), along with her devoted cousin, Mary Ellen Shippey, her cherished niece, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and her Sisters in the Congregation.

 Formerly missioned in food service at St. Mary Parish, Franklin; St. John Parish, Swampscott; Sisters of St. Joseph Noviate in Framingham; St. Clement Parish, Somerville; as a unit manager at Kennedy Memorial Hospital, Brighton; administrator at Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, Brighton; in the cafeteria of Mt. St. Joseph Academy, Brighton; a transportation driver at Fontbonne Hall, Framingham; as a teacher at Walnut Park Montessori; and St. Clement School, Somerville.

Visiting hours at Holy Family Chapel, Sisters of St. Joseph Motherhouse, 631 Cambridge Street, Brighton, MA, Friday, June 10, 2022, 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. Prayer Service at 10:15 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass and Prayers of Final Commendation at the Motherhouse at 10:30 a.m.

Burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery, 180 Pond Street, Natick.
