ASHLAND – Full depth construction begins Tuesday, May 31, on Route 126 in Ashland.

Full depth construction will create a more significant disturbance to the corridor in the coming weeks.

It consists of crews milling the current pavement and fine grading during the day followed by paving at night.

This work will be done in stretches of 2,000 ft at a time starting just past Higgins Tree Farm (Station 77+00/ 68 Pond Street) towards the Holliston line.

Crews hope to have this completed within 6 weeks.

Traffic will be closed to one lane and cars will be traveling on gravel.

Please allow extra time to travel, remember that businesses are still open and thank you in advance for your patience.
