SHREWSBURY – Framingham High student Sam Burgess won the Division 1 championship in the 2 mile on Friday at Shrewsbury High School.
The junior finished the race in 9:19.23 minutes.
He will advance to the Meet of Champions next week, said head coach Chris Collins.
