FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Public Library will hold a celebration to honor former Framingham Public Library Director Mark Contois on Tuesday, June 7.

Contois served as Framingham Public Library Director director from 2006 to 2010, and then he left Framingham to become the head librarian for the City of Worcester.

He returned in 2012, and retired in 2020.

At the reception at the main Framingham Public Library at 49 Lexington Street, a bench will be unveiled in Contois’ honor.

The celebration is planned for 5:30 p.m.
