FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High boys lacrosse team defeated the Tigers of Newton North High 8-5.

Billy Neiberger with four goals and an assist led the Flyers, said Head Coach AJ Mulvey.

Framingham was ranked 27th and the Tigers 24th at the start of the game.

“We played awesome team lacrosse. We had a few lapses at times but were able to pull it together and pull off the win. Billy had a heck of a day with 4 goals and 1 assist, but it all stems from the great ball movement from him and his teammates. When we keep the ball moving, great things happen for us offensively,” said Mulvey.

“Our defense was extremely disciplined yet played tough physical defense. We only had two penalties,” said Coach Mulvey.

Kyle Patriarca had 9 saves in goal for the Flyers.

“We shift our focus to prepare for Needham team this Tuesday. Needham is ranked #8 in the MIAA,” said Mulvey.
