NATICK – Clara F. (Hubbard) McElhenny,  81, a more recent resident of Mary Ann Morse Nursing Home and a former longtime resident of Holliston, died Thursday, May 5, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the devoted wife for over 45 years to James R. McElhenny who died in 2019.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Albert E. and Frances E. (Black) Hubbard.

​She worked for many years at Prime Computer.

​Clara along with her husband, James were longtime parishioners of St. Cecilia’s Church in Ashland where she enjoyed volunteering at Bingo.

​​She is survived by her children, Paul McElhenny and his wife Denise of Weymouth and her daughter, Sandy McElhenny of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Brian McElhenny and his wife April of San Antonio, TX, Marybeth Daigneault of Charlotte, NC and Trevor Daigneault and his wife Juliane all of Charlotte, NC, and several great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 9 a.m. at St. Cecilia Church, 54 Esty Street in Ashland. 

Burial will follow in Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.

Visiting hours at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech Street (corner of Union Ave.) Framingham, will be Wednesday, May 11 from 4 – 7 p.m.
