Framingham Water Main Flushing in Zone 1 This Week

FRAMINGHAM – City of Framingham Water Department will conduct water main flushing in Zone 1 this week from Monday to Friday during the hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The purpose of the program is to improve drinking water quality for residents and businesses in Framingham.

The flushing process may cause discolored water and a reduction in pressure.

The discoloration of the water will be temporary and is not harmful, said DPW.
