FRAMINGHAM – A Framingham police officer in his cruiser, who was responding to an emergency call, was struck by a cyclist, according to Framingham Police.

“An officer responding to an emergency call pulled onto Lincoln Street, said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

“A cyclist attempted to cross to the other side of the street striking the driver’s side of the vehicle,” said Lt. Mickens.

The cyclist “suffered minor injuries,” said Lt. Mickens, but did not go to the hospital.

No citation was issued, said Lt. Mickens.

 No transports/citations.

The police log lists the incident as a pedestrian accident at 11:49 a.m. on Sunday, May 1.
