WORCESTER – Sunday, April 17 was Framingham Day at the Worcester Red Sox (WooSox) game.

WooSox President Charles Steinberg spent some time with City of Framingham’s Mayor Charlie Sisitsky and his wife Robin Kaye.

Mayor Sisitsky had the honor of throwing out the first pitch. He was joined at the mound by David Blais from Daniel’s Table. A portion of the proceeds from Framingham Day at Polar Park in Worcester were donated to Daniel’s Table.

Larry Lucchino, Chair of the Board of the WooSox, gave the Mayor some last minute pitching tips. The Mayor threw out the first pitch during a snow squall.

Kezia Franca, the City’s Citizen Participation Officer, gave a magnificent rendition of the National Anthem.

Chief Operating Officer, Mike Tusino and his wife Robin attended the game, as did School Committee Chair Priscila Sousa, and School Committee member Adam Freudberg with his family.

Mayor Sisitsky also had an opportunity to speak with the NESN announcers during the game to talk about what a wonderful community Framingham is. Several members of the Mayor’s family joined him for Framingham Day at the ball park.
