FRAMINGHAM – A home on Central Street was broken into Thursday afternoon.

Framingham Police arrived at 536 Central Street at 12:26 p.m. while a “breaking and entering” was in progress, said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

“When police arrived the suspect ran from the house injuring himself,” said Lt. Mickens.

The suspect was detained and transported to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, said Lt. Mickens.

He will be summonsed for various charges including breaking and entering and malicious destruction of property, said Lt. Mickens.
