FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham High baseball team opened the season at Bowditch Field on Tuesday afternoon against Quincy.

The Flyers won 5-1.

Sophomore JJ Blanchard got the win. He pitched almost 5 innings and struck out 7.

Scooter Beverly and Cody Coleman also pitched an inning.

Sophomore Jeremy Auren was 2 for 2 on the day, scoring 3 runs and stealing 2 bases.

Senior Coleman was 1 for 3 on the day with an RBI and 2 stolen bases.

Senior Nathan Thurber had an RBI and a stolen base.
