MARLBOROUGH – After four decades as an officer, Marlborough Police Officer David Garceau is retiring today, March 31.

“Officer Garceau has served the City since 1980 and now hangs up his keys for the last time after 42 years,” wrote Marlborough Police.

“Although many things have changed since his first shift, Officer Garceau has remained a constant- showing up to work each day and never hesitating to share his experience and words of wisdom with his co-workers. We wish you well in retirement and Badge #1 will now move on to the next deserving senior officer,” wrote Marlborough Police.
